The Itanium Solutions Alliance Innovation Awards recognize and reward end users and developers of Itanium-based solutions for outstanding use of Itanium-based servers in their applications. To participate, individuals or organizations may enter in one of four categories:

The Itanium Solutions Alliance is led by a Steering Committee currently represented by executives from the Alliance’s Sponsors. This group sets the Alliance direction, allocates funds and defines membership criteria and benefits. The Steering Committee also has the authority to charter committees. Current committees include the Steering Committee, Global Committee and a Japan Regional Committee. Representatives from North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific sit on the Global Committee.

There are several levels of participation within the Itanium Solutions Alliance. General membership is offered free of charge to interested independent software vendors, systems integrators and corporate developers.
